The Walking Federation of South Australia Inc.

APPLICATION FOR CLUB/GROUP MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

(July 1 to June 30)

Groups, who wish to become affiliated with Walking Federation of South Australian Inc (Walking SA),
need to:-

Ø Agree to be bound by the Constitution of the Federation.
Ø Be willing to join Bushwalking Australia Inc’s. National Public Liability Insurance scheme or have adequate Public Liability Insurance. (Personal Injury Insurance is also available from the National scheme)    (2006/07 Fees were PL $6 PA $5)
Ø  Have been operating for at least six months and have a minimum of 10 active members.
Ø  Have in place, safety guidelines and a risk management policy

NEW MEMBER GROUPS ALSO NEED TO BE ACCEPTED AT A GENERAL MEETING

Affiliation Fees as from 2007/2008 will be $5.00 per walker, to be collected by each group.

Walking SA publishes a quarterly Newsletter, 10 free copies available to each group.

Each group is entitled to a delegate to represent them at General Meetings held four times a year.

Walking SA publishes a brochure covering affiliated clubs open for new membership and information on our website.
