Jasemin has been a member of the St Agnes Bushwalkers since 1982, having served in roles and on the committee member for many years. Involved in work with Walking SA, including some of the annual April Opening of the Bushwalking Season events, Jasemin has also been involved in saving Angove scrub from housing, influencing the creation of the Yurrebilla Trail, ensuring the Heysen Trail follows the Waitpinga Cliffs and advocating for the conservation of other parks.

About the Walking Awards

Walking SA has initiated annual awards to recognise sustained and outstanding contribution to walking at all levels throughout South Australia.

Many volunteers and others have contributed to South Australia’s great walking trails, waling clubs, and walking promotion and opportunities for health, wellbeing, recreation and tourism.
