About

Walk suitable for those with mobility issues including wheelchairs

This is an Accessible MT Push / eTrike experience enabling independent wheelchair access to tracks and trails. This event will loop along tracks and paths around Playford Lake. The MT Push is an all-terrain assisted wheelchair providing inclusive access to a wide variety of terrain, mud, gravel, grass and uneven pathways. eTrikes are electric-assist wheelchairs designed for active users who want to go further, faster or tackle more challenging terrain and for those who would like some assistance to travel off road.

National Parks and Wildlife Service South Australia has partnered with the District Council of Yankalilla and the City of Mitcham Council to provide free hire throughout the year of the Accessible MT Push in Belair National Park. This provides new opportunities to experience the natural environment for people living with a disability.

The walk is hosted by Yvie Eglinton, Coordinator of Park Access for All with the Department of Environment and Water.

A maximum 5 participants.
This walk is also available earlier at 10:50am.
