Walking SA has made a submission to the Department for Infrastructure and Transport in regards to their evaluation of the Department’s Way2Go program.

The Way2Go program is a statewide South Australian program delivered by the Department that promotes safer, greener and more active travel for primary school students and their school communities. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the Way2Go program against national programs and alignment with other state agency school-based road safety education and active travel initiatives. The evaluation aims to identify the extent the program content, and process aligns with best practice principles, as well as overall effectiveness of the program. The evaluation outcomes will inform future improvements to the Way2Go program.
