C + D Circuits, Burnside Walks

About the Walking Trail

The many walking trails in Mount Osmond Reserve provides good opportunity to combine walking loops, such as combining the C Circuit (Themeda Circuit) and D Circuit (Beaumont Circuit). The trails through Mount Osmond Reserve are open, and a mix of single track walking trail, and wider fire tracks. Some of the walking trails here are well contoured and wind their way around the hills. There are options to use the very steep Centre Track, a fire track that intercepts the winding walking trail, as a shortcut.

This walking trail is part of the Burnside Walks network, a series of trails around the hills on the edge of the City of Burnside, and in Mount Osmond Reserve. The trails are all well marked, with regular signs and numbered checkpoints that correspond to the excellent walking map.
