Visitors enjoy walking, hiking and trail running through picturesque pine forests and adjacent beautiful conservation areas. Many of their trails are supported by overnight stopovers in forest huts and campgrounds.

Ingalalla Falls
Enjoy a short 250m walk with the family. The trail starts at the picnic area, following the creek upstream for 250 metres to reach the rock pool & waterfall. There are several picnic areas along the way. - 30 mins1.1 km
Chookarloo Walk, Kuitpo Forest
Experience the pine forest and native scrub around Chookarloo Campground on this short walk. The walk starts from the Chookarloo Campground at one of the footbridges, entering the dark forest shady forest. Jenkins Scrub Walking Trail

The Eucalypts Trail is a short loop that takes in both pine and hardwood plantations in the beautiful Kuitpo forest. During late Winter and Spring a beautiful array of wildflowers can be seen on display along the trail. Forest Trail, Kuitpo Forest
Explore the native and pine forests in Kuitpo Forest on the Forest Trail. A shared-use trail is for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers. Start the hike from the Avenues picnic area which has toilets and fire pits in the picnic area. - 2 hrs6.4 km
Mount Hayfield Hike (Second Valley Forest)
Enjoy a hike through the native scrub and pine plantations on Mount Hayward, which is part of the Second Valley Forest Reserve (Kalumunda Plantation). The route follows fire tracks and wide forest access tracks - it's a route, not a trail - however it's easy enough to follow. - 2.5 hrs6.8 km
Morgan Loop Trail, Mount Lofty Ranges Trails, Kersbrook
The Morgan Loop Trail is a shorter version of the Simpson Loop Trail, and follows quiet country lanes and tracks through the area north of the town of Kersbrook, with good views over surrounding farmland. Although the trail is deemed for walkers, about half of the trail is actually along dirt roads shared with cars, and is part of the Kersbrook Horse Trails. The sections near the start, between checkpoint S02 and S03 and towards Morgan Road are tracks not roads. - 2 hrs7 km
