Farina Creek Walks (including the Wells Walking Trail)

About the Walking Trail

Explore the creek, old railway bridges and the original township wells on the Farina Creek Walk. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, whilst spotting the wildlife and birdlife along the walk.

The walk commences from the Farina campground and follows the Farina Creek. The full trail is a 2km circuit, but there is a shortcut halfway that would make it only a 850m circuit. The walk is shown on the map in yellow. The Wells Walking Trail is a small section of the full trail, and is about 1km return. You can read a more detailed description of the Farina Creek Walks on the Farina Restoration Group website. The trail is well signposted and interpretive signs along the way reveal some of the town’s past.

Extend the walk by also walking the 1.7km Narrow Gauge River Crossing Walk (shown on the map in red.)

The best time to visit Farina is during the winter months, particularly when the Farina Restoration Group has the Underground Bakery open.
