About the Walking Trail

Follow the boardwalk to the lookout viewing platform. The first half, about 100 metres, is wheelchair accessible. At this point there is a lookout platform, and the remainder of the boardwalk is steps to the last lookout.

The whole boardwalk is 170 metres long.

From the lookouts take in the spectacular views of Goolwa and Hindmarsh Island Bridge, the Murray mouth, the Coorong and back to Victor Harbor.

The walk begins from the carpark at Goolwa Beach, at the end of Beach Road. The boardwalk entrance is near the sandy 4WD road that accesses the beach from the carpark. There are toilets and cafe in the carpark.
