About the Walking Trail

Enjoy a loop through the quiet Greenhill Recreation Park, through the urban streets of Greenhill, before descending into Chambers Gully, returning along the Waterfall Gully Road Walking Trail and some quiet suburban streets of Burnside.

As dogs are not permitted in Cleland National Park, this walk is not suitable for dog-walking.

  10. The trail meets Gate 3 near the end of Thorpe Road.
  11. Before crossing the gate, turn right onto the fire track, heading up hill. This trail gets steep, providing good views over the plains.
  12. After walking over the summit, the fire track descends to a locked gate, take the walking trail to the right.
  13. The walking trail takes you down to Greenhill Road, coming out near bus stop 16, Greenhill Road.
  14. Continue through the vehicle gate, up the fire track that heads slightly uphill, parallel to Greenhill Road.
  15. The fire trail comes out at the end of Yarrabee Road.
  16. Continue walking along Yarrabee Road to the first road junction, turning down Quintin Avenue.
  17. At the end of Quintin Avenue, cross Greenhill Road, entering Cleland National Park via Gate 8 onto the Kilto Loop Track.
  18. Follow the Kilto Loop Track downhill, turning right twice before meeting the main Chambers Gully Track and Bartrill Spur Track junction. Turn right here, following the Burnside Quarry Track down to Waterfall Gully Road.
  19. Walk down the Waterfall Gully Road Walking Trail, returning to Langman Reserve.
