About the Walking Trail
A 4km circuit of Hale Conservation Park, exploring the rocky lookouts, waterfall and old mine diggings. Watch out for echidnas which can often be heard, and sometime seen.
Begin the hike from the carpark on Warren Road, 2.5km south of Williamstown. The trail is marked anti-clockwise (turn right at the trailhead at Gate 1.) The trail has been developed and marked by the Walking Trails Support Group, you can download their excellent brochure to find out more about the environment along the way.
