Heritage Tree Walk, Belair National Park

About the Walking Trail

1km, 20 minutes

This easy walk winds its way around prominent heritage trees such as oak, poplar, sequoia, cork oak, pine and horse chestnut. These species were planted in the late 1890s to the 1920s to ‘improve the attractiveness’ of the park. They are reminders of the early heritage of Belair National Park.

The trail is suitable for most strollers. Some sections of the trail (on the northern eastern side of the creek) can become waterlogged, slippery or muddy during winter or wet weather.
