About the Walking Trail

There are 3 marked trails around Loxton:

• Loxton Nature Trail
  3km / 1 hour one-way
  Wander along the riverfront westwards to Heaven (steep climb to lookout).
• Red Route
  1.7km / 30mins
  Explore a short loop near the riverfront.
• Yellow Route
  5.3km / 75mins
  Explore a larger loop of the town and riverfront.

The walking and nature trails meander through the natural riverine environment rich in history and geology, many of the gum trees are hundreds of years old.
