About the Walking Trail
Morialta Conservation Park is a bushwalker’s paradise and the 30-metre First Falls is one of its highlights.
This steep walk passes Giants Cave and offers spectacular views of Morialta Gorge’s towering cliffs, the Adelaide Plains, the city and the coast as well as providing views of the First Falls, which flow in winter and autumn.
The walk can be walked clockwise, or anticlockwise. The walk can be commenced from either the First Fall Carpark at the end of the road in (4.1km), or from the more easily parked-at Lower Carpark on Stradbroke Road (6.9km) by first following the Fourth Creek Walk.
Extend the Hike
Extend the hike by walking the Three Falls Hike, which takes in all three of the falls.
