Mount Pleasant Summit Trail

About the Walking Trails

Choose between three circuits, or combine into larger circuit hikes. These walks wander through Mt Crawford Forest. Whilst most of the forest comprises of pine plantation, there is also some delightful native scrub areas – one favourite being between checkpoints MP04 and MP05. Circuit 1 includes the summit of Mt Pleasant, where you can see views across the forest to Mt Crawford and Little Mt Crawford.

Walking Trails Support Group produce an excellent brochure with map and tracknotes.

Walk options from Glen Devon Road trailhead include:

  •  Circuit 1: 4.7km
  •  Circuit 1 +  Circuit 2: 7.2km
  •  Circuit 1 +  Circuit 2 +  Circuit 3: 11.5km

Walk options from Cromer Picnic Area trailhead on Cricks Mill Road include:

  •  Circuit 3: 4.7km
  •  Circuit 3 +  Circuit 2: 7.2km
  •  Circuit 3 +  Circuit 2 and Circuit 2 +  Circuit 1: 10.7km
