About the Historical walk

A two hour Heritage Walk of Port Augusta will allow you to understand how Port Augusta contributed to the development of the Outback of South Australia. It was once a major shipping port which allowed access to our remote areas.

The walk commences from the Wadlata Outback Centre, 41 Flinders Terrace. Download the Heritage Walk map or grab a copy of the Port Augusta Visitor Guide which contains the Heritage Walk (available from Port Augusta Visitor Information Centre at 41 Flinders Terrace.)
