About the Find a Place to Walk directory

With over 800 trails listed in the Find a Place to Walk directory, you can always find a place to walk, hike or bushwalk across South Australia. From a 1 hour walk near your home with your dog, to a half day hike in a national park, or a longer trail further afield in South Australia, we've showcased 815 trails and walks across SA.

Submit a walk of your own. It’s easy, and open to anyone. Creating your walk entry can be as simple or as complex as you like.

As with all outdoor activities, ensure you and your group are well prepared and equipped for possible risks. Walking SA and the contributing author of a walk are not responsible for the content of posted walks. Read more.

We know you love walking and we need your support to help us achieve our vision of seeing “more people walking more often”.

We are the peak body in SA for walking, but we’re a not-for-profit organisation with only a little help from the government so we rely on supporters, just like you, to promote walking to all South Australians.

With over 800 walking trails showcased, our website shows the work we do to improve your walking experiences.
