Silver Mine Loop

About the Walking Trail

The Silver Mine Loop is a 2.4km long circuit hike that predominately follows wide fire track. The loop includes a short section of walking trail up to the Lookout, which has views and a picnic table. The hike passes several old fenced mine shafts near the Lookout.

The hike starts from near the junction of Rosella Track and Ellis Way. Walkers can access this trailhead by walking from the main carpark in the former quarry on a couple of different tracks, including by following the Wednesday Loop to the junction of Rosella Track and Ellis Way.

Walkers and mountain bikers are permitted on this loop.
