Join the tour of this wetland and haven for native wildlife, recognised as an urban biodiversity ‘hotspot’.
The St Peters Billabong is not only recognised as an urban biodiversity ‘hotspot’ on the Adelaide Plains but is a beautiful place to visit.
The area is a rare example of a well-preserved, well-restored natural environment and is an interesting and tranquil place to visit. It is also home to the Council’s first native bee hotel.
This event is part of the Nature Festival from 25 September to 4 October 2021. With over two hundred events for all ages, the Nature Festival is back for our second year and full of creative ways to connect with nature and each other.
