Stage 1, opened in April, is from Clare Visitor Centre to Armagh (Jim Barry Wines), a distance of 5-6 hours 20.4km.

The Clare Valley Wine & Wilderness Trail is a new 100km walking & cycling trail being developed through the Clare Valley. Once completed, the trail will pass 24 cellar doors, 4 pubs, multiple cafes & restaurants, and will showcase the stunning rural and natural landscapes of the Clare Valley. The trail will travel on a network of backroads, road reserves & private property.

Stage 2 of the trail will officially open on Sunday 3 October, which runs from Jim Barry Wines Cellar Door to Jeanneret Wines Cellar Door. The total length of this section is 19km, with Eldredge Wines located at the 12km mark for those who need a rest. Stage 2 passes through 8 private properties as well as the Spring Gully Conservation Park.

At the end of the section, Jeanneret Wines will be hosting a celebration party with burgers, food & wine and live music at their cellar door.
