South Australian Recreation Trails Incorporated (SARTI) was formed to develop walking trails in South Australia. The first project was to develop the 325km Lavender Federation Walking Trail from Murray Bridge to Clare.
SARTI’s achievements include:
- the 325km Lavender Federation Walking Trail from Murray Bridge to Clare
- the 300km Lavender Cycling Trail from Murray Bridge to Clare
- developed or fostered many loop and spur trails where people can take shorter walks or rides, of various lengths and difficulty
SARTI also offers a LFT Members Short Walks Group which focuses on sections of the Lavender Federation Walking Trail that are on private property.
