Battunga Country – Trails

Battunga-Country contains many trails through tree-lined tracks, road reservces, forests and parks. The 40km Kangowirranilla walking and cycling trail travels through the Battunga countryside and the Bull Creek Range, with views to the Lakes, Coorong and Mt Lofty Ranges to form a loop with the Heysen Trail. This trail also links to Hahndorf, Mount Barker, Strathalbyn, McLaren Vale and Adelaide. Don’t be surprised to meet kangaroos, echidnas, rosellas, yellow tailed cockatoos, kookaburras and wedge tailed eagles enroute.

  • 12 short loop walking trails marked, from 1.5 hours (4.8km) to 2.5 hours (7.6km)
